RE4 Remake's story campaign is full of tough battles, but the Bella Sisters fight is one of the toughest.
The plot of Resident Evil 4 Remake tells about the adventures of agent Leon Kennedy, who is trying to save the kidnapped Ashley Graham from the tenacious clutches of a creepy cult. To find her, Leon will have to fight his way through the hordes of infected peasants, but even when he gets to Ashley, their misadventures do not end there.

Finding Ashley in the village church, Leon will need to deliver her to the extraction point, but the path to her is blocked by angry locals. And if most of them can be finished off with a couple of well-aimed shots, then unique opponents like the Bell sisters, wielding chainsaws, require a special approach.

Preparing to fight the Bella sisters in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Despite the fact that the Bella sisters are not considered bosses in the Resident Evil 4 remake, the fight with them is one of the most difficult in the entire game. Leon will encounter crazed peasant women brandishing chainsaws in Chapter 6, and this will happen in the Gateway location. To progress further in the story, you'll need to kill both sisters, but that's easier said than done.

The battle will begin after you approach the handle on the first floor of the house on the left side of the Gateway location and press the interaction button.

Before doing this, it is recommended to order Ashley to hide in one of the yellow lockers to keep her safe. With a tough battle ahead of you, you won't have time to keep an eye on Ashley and be distracted by rescuing her. After hiding Ashley, search the area around the house to collect all the healing items and ammo.

After that, go up to the second floor of the building, drop down to the closed area outside and open the two locked doors. This will allow you to quickly escape from the house in a few minutes when the building is full of enemies.

It is advised to stock up on pistol and shotgun ammo, as well as take a few flash grenades with you. With their help, you can instantly kill opponents who have Plag parasites growing in place of their heads.
The game is automatically saved before you pick up the hilt, so if the Bell Sisters suddenly manage to deal with you, you will start the second attempt from the very beginning of the battle without losing any progress.
How to Defeat the Bella Sisters Resident Evil 4 Remake

As soon as you press the interact button to pick up the handle from the shelf, a short cut-scene will play, showing the appearance of the Bella sisters, each wielding a chainsaw. At the beginning of the battle, you need to fire as many shotgun volleys at each of the sisters as possible. Try to shoot in such a way that each shot deals damage to both sisters, which will allow you to save some ammo.
You can also use grenades to deal solid damage to the sisters. However, if you want to make the most of your ammo, it is recommended to wait until other peasants join the sisters. After that, you can throw grenades into the crowd to destroy several opponents at once.
Building escape

You will only have a few seconds to deal damage to the sisters, as other opponents will start running into the building pretty soon. Keep an eye on your surroundings so that no infected peasant can get close to you from behind. If you see that there are too many enemies, then you need to run through the door that you opened during the preparation for the battle, get out through the gate to the open area, and then climb the stairs, which is located in the center of the location.

Climbing onto the wooden platform will give you a significant advantage in combat, as enemies will no longer be able to catch you by surprise. From here it is very convenient to shoot oncoming opponents with a shotgun. What's more, the Bella sisters can do half the work for you - as they climb the stairs, they randomly swing their chainsaws, dealing damage to their own allies. Use this feature to reduce the enemy population to a minimum.
Stair fight

This is a very comfortable position to fight in, but if you feel that there are too many enemies, then go to the platform leading back to the top floor of the building in which the handle lay, and then jump down to the floor below so that there are fewer enemies at the stairs.

If you manage to break away from the pursuers, you can return back to the stairs, moving along the southern corner of the map. Climb up to the wooden scaffold again and shoot the running up opponents. Sooner or later, a crowd forms again at the stairs - by this moment the Bella sisters should arrive in time for you, who will once again begin to swing chainsaws in all directions, destroying the peasants who have fallen under the arm.
Keep in mind that Plag's Parasites will spawn from some enemies if you critically hit them. If you don't have enough flash grenades, try to lure all enemies with parasites to one point, and then throw a flash grenade at them, which will instantly destroy them.
The final phase of the battle

If any of the sisters get too close to you, you need to run away immediately, as parrying should only be used as a last resort. As soon as the combat knife's durability scale is used up, the weapon will immediately break, so it's best to save it for really hopeless situations when Leon is cornered and parrying attacks will be the only chance of salvation. Shoot at the Bell sisters from afar and throw grenades at them.

Once you've dealt with most of the Ganado, you'll be able to focus all of your attention on the Bell Sisters. By this point, they won't have much health left, so you only need a few well-aimed shots to finish them off. Keep in mind that the sisters will try to protect themselves from bullets by putting chainsaws in front of them. In these cases, it is recommended to first shoot them in the legs to briefly stun them, and only then aim at their heads.
Once you've killed both Bell sisters, search their bodies to find a handle, without which you won't be able to open the passage to the next location.
