A guide to solving the headless chimera statue puzzle in the main hall in Resident Evil 4.
Throughout the story campaign of Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will have to solve various puzzles in between battles with infected opponents. Some of them are completely optional, but for their solution you can get valuable rewards, however, most of these puzzles block the way forward, so you will have to strain your brains to deal with these puzzles.
After reaching Chapter 9, you will enter the main hall, in the center of which stands a headless statue of a chimera. You need to find all three heads in order to put them on the statue and move on in the story. After examining the wall nearby, you can understand that you will need to find the heads of a lion, a snake and a goat. This guide will tell you where each of these items is hidden.

Where to find a goat's head in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Climb up and go through the right door to the gallery, where players will see a goat statue at the end of the bridge. However, as soon as you get to the middle of the bridge, a cultist will appear to your right, who will pull the lever and lower the bridge, after which you will fall to the first floor, where a squad of opponents is already waiting for you.
Give the order to Ashley not to get in the way so that you can shoot freely in all directions, and at the same time make sure that the opponents do not come close to her. Once you've eliminated all the enemies, head up the stairs to the platform with the lever to kill the red-robed fanatic. After that, the parasite inside Leon will calm down, and the hero's condition will return to normal. After that, turn the lever to raise the bridge and go across it to the statue, where you can take the goat's head. Once you have it in your inventory, a few more enemies will appear on the other side of the bridge. Draw out powerful ranged weapons (such as the Stingray Rifle) to take them down quickly.
Where to find the lion head in Resident Evil 4 Remake
This quest item is located in the armory, which can be accessed through the door opposite the gallery. Pass along the corridor and you will fall into a round hall, where the lion's head is located. It may seem completely safe here, but it is recommended to reload all weapons in advance and break all vases in order to collect all the supplies in this location. As soon as you take the head of the lion, you will be attacked by the revived armor, placed throughout the hall. After dealing with terrible opponents, catch Ashley and together open a passage that will lead you back to the main hall.
Where to find the snake head in Resident Evil 4 Remake
In order to find the last quest item, you need to head to the dining hall located below. When you get to this room, you will see a snake statue in a cage. To open the cage, you will need to solve another puzzle. The clue can be found in two paintings located at the back of the dining room.
Carefully study the paintings of a man and a woman and pay attention to the objects that are on the tables in front of them. You need to seat Leon and Ashley at tables with exactly the same table setting, and then ring the table bell. If done correctly, the cage will open and you can take the snake's head. After that, you need to return to the main hall and mark all three found heads on the chimera statue. This will be followed by a short cut-scene, after which Chapter 9 will continue, but you will already have to play as Ashley.
