Nirodha in Genshin Impact is a sub-quest for When the Light of Hvarna Manifests. During the subquest, you need to visit the ruins, go through a small dungeon, solve puzzles and find the great song of Hvarna.

How to start the quest When the Light of Hvarna Manifests: Nirodha in Genshin Impact

The stage begins in the course of completing the task “When the Light of Hvarna Shines”. We talk with Nasejuna, after which we teleport to the swamps. Sorush opens the passage, we go there and find ourselves in a dungeon that you need to go through to get the song.

Having reached the place, we go down to the very bottom, wait for the end of the cutscene and go into the newly opened passage.

Go to the entrance to the underground ruins

We move towards the quest marker to enter the ruins.

We move on until we reach a closed door. To proceed further, you need to solve a small puzzle.

Talk to Nasejuna

At the door we talk with allies. During the conversation, Nasejuna gives a clue to solve the puzzle.

Open the gates of the ruins

We approach the mechanism on the right side of the door and see three ways of interaction.

To open the door, use the following combination:

1. Turn the top one once;
2. Turn the middle mechanism 2 times;
3. We do not touch the last mechanism at all. 

The passage is open, move on.

Enter the ruins

We go further into the ruins, we find ourselves in the next room with riddles.

Having reached the next room, another dialogue with the allies begins. We are waiting for completion and proceed to solve the next puzzle. Nasejuna gives more hints for solving puzzles.

Find energy blocks

You need to find the power block. We go up the stairs right next to Nasejuna and move towards the open doors. As soon as we enter, the doors close behind us. There is no way back.

We continue to go forward and come across a closed door, but there is a switch nearby, which is covered with a gray crystal. To be able to open the door, you must first destroy the crystal.

We jump down and go into the cave. We go to the very end.

We find Hvarna there and follow it, bring it to a gray crystal and release the switch.

On the way, Hvarna also frees the hounds, who were wrapped in a gray crystal, so there will be a fight. We defeat the enemies and get to the switch.

After the interaction, the doors open.

In this room, right on the table, we see an energy unit. We come and pick up.

The task is completed, now you need to return to the original room, but the passage back is closed. We need to find another way.

Return to control center

We go for Khvarna.

We find ourselves in a room with another puzzle, where you need to correctly place three symbols (as is the case with the first door). Everything is solved simply:

1. Turn the top one 2 times;
2. Middle turn 1 time;
3. Lower turn 2 times.

The doors are open, we go into the next room.

Gearing up for battle as Hvarna walks up to the two guards and activates them.

We defeat mobs. Normal fight, nothing complicated. Don't forget to pick up the chest behind them.

We bring Hvarna to the lever, shrouded in a gray crystal. The crystal breaks, interact and open the door.

We have successfully returned to the control center.

We talk with Nasejuna, he says what to do next.

Install an energy block

We approach the device and press the interaction button, then confirm to put the energy block.

Again we talk with Nasejuna. There were problems, the mechanism did not work, the whole problem is in the relay.

Head to the control center where the relays are

We return to the room where we just fought the golems and looted the chest. There is another puzzle to be solved in the room.

Again we speak with Nasejuna to find out a further plan of action.

We are waiting for the end of the dialogue.

Connect the circuit

The game gives us another new puzzle with the redirection of energy to the right place.

We rotate the first mechanism once.

Examine the door on the left

We follow the trace of the electric line until we get to the quest marker and get into the next room.

In this room, Paimon notices that the circuit is too complicated, but the solution to the puzzle is simple. First, we rise to the very top and take Hvarna to destroy the gray crystal enveloping several mechanisms. We put the first Hvarna on the ground so that the radius acts on two mechanisms wrapped in a gray crystal (as shown in the screenshot).

First we direct the line of energy so that the current goes straight to the door. Behind the door is a rich chest. We loot and proceed to solve the puzzle.

Now we direct the flow of energy to the closed gate. They open up.

We go inside and interact with the mechanism. The flow of energy should go as indicated in the screenshot.

We direct the last mechanism. The current from both sides goes to the mechanism, above which the quest marker hangs. If everything is done correctly, the doors will open.

Explore the testing ground

We go into the door that has just opened and go forward until we get to the next location, where the quest marker leads.

Having reached the entrance to the test site, we again talk with Nasejuna. We are waiting for completion.

Enter the test site

After the dialogue is completed, we go to the test site and go to the very center.

Examine the strange device

We approach the strange device and interact.

During the cutscene, we see how a new mechanism appears in the room.

Talk to Sorush

We talk with Sorush to figure out what kind of instrument it is.

Activate the Ruin Cannon

We approach and interact with the mechanism.

Defeat opponents

Immediately after activation, the security protocol starts. Guards appear on the arena, which must be defeated.

We use the Sorush barrier to protect ourselves from the laser.

Enemies continue to advance, we overcome them.

As soon as the laser is activated, we use the Sorush barrier for protection. Repeat the action until all enemies are defeated.

Use the ruin cannon to destroy the golem's core

We are looking for a safe moment and run straight to the cannon, press the interaction button to take control.

We aim directly at the center of the mechanism and shoot at the golem to destroy it.

As soon as the shield is activated, we attack along the edges of the triangle (along the spheres), destroy the barrier and attack the core again.

We continue to the bitter end.

Examine the opened device

We rise to the mechanism and interact. The quest marker leads there. 

Get the Great Song of Hvarna

We go ahead and loot the chest.

We go even further and find the Great Khvarna (Great Song of Khvarna). Use Sorush, activate her ability, take the song. 

Leave the testing ground

We go back, we get to the quest marker to leave the test site.

Return to Nasejun

In the end, we talk with Nasejuna and complete the quest.
