Plumage of Cleansing Light in Genshin Impact: where to find and how to collect

Purifying Light Plumage in Genshin Impact are dendrocule-like clumps used to level up the Amrita Lake in the Vurukash oasis and receive valuable rewards, including Primogems. Can be found at various points in the expanded desert area (patch 3.6). Impossible to get without help Sorush - the flower keeper, so you first need to find her.

How to Collect Cleansing Light Plumes in Genshin Impact

Collecting these important items is divided into two categories and turns into a small mini-game. First we open access to Sorush, after which we equip it on the tool slot and activate it to start controlling it. We approach the feathers and start collecting. 

The collection is divided into two categories:

1. There are 2 icons on the minimap that indicate the location of the Feathers. The first one (the icon that looks like a fairy: there are 26 of them on the map) shows the location of the Purifying Light Plumage. 
2. While the second icon (Round Root with a dot in the middle: 10 of them on the map) shows the location of Fravashi Trees, which will give you the Feather as a reward after you complete their mini-quest.

In general, there should be no difficulties in farming this resource. 

Where to find Plumage of Cleansing Light in Genshin Impact

You can find them in different parts of the new expanded desert area of ​​patch 3.6. At the same time, access to some of them opens only with the pumping of Sorush, and only after completing certain quests. In total, you can collect x36 units of this resource, this is enough for the maximum pumping of the lake and to receive all the rewards.

1. 26 of them must be collected in the open world, without additional conditions;
2. The remaining 10 can be collected after unlocking Fravashi Trees, which are unlocked by leveling the Flower Keeper during the Pale Fire storyline.

The map above shows the location of all 26 feathers (the rest will be included in the fravashi tree below).

Plumage 1: North of the Temir Mountains

Teleport to the Statue of the Seven near the Tunigi Gap and head south. Near the path there are several bushes with a small branch of a dry tree. It's right on top of a small branch of a dry tree.

Plumage 2: On top of the Temir mountains

From the previous location, head southwest and climb to the top of the mountain. When you get there, you will find some crystals (they are also visible on the map, right above the letter T in the mountains at maximum magnification). The feather hovers over the crystals.

Plumage 3: East of the Tunigi Gap

Teleport there to the Statue of Seven as #1 and head northwest towards the underground teleporter. You should see 3 Hilichurls dancing around him and a 4th Pyro Hilichurl Archer standing guard.

Plumage 4: South of the Tunigi Gap

Teleport to the southwestern point of the Tunigi Mountains and head east on top of the cliff. Look up and you will see jagged rocks at the top of the cliff. Climb it and the feather is on a small pointed rock. 

Plumage 5: South of Zu-l Qarnaina Gate

Teleport to the same place as number 4 and head west. You will see some gray crystals in the distance ahead, and the plumage is on top of the big one. There is also a regular chest next to it.

Plumage 6: Tuniga Gap

Teleport to the same place as number 4 and head north. Follow the path north until the path turns west. Stop there and then go northeast toward the Tuniga Gap and look up. It is on top of a pointed rock with a tree branch at the top.

Plumage 7: South of the coast of Samudra

Teleport to the Gate of Dhu'l Qarnine, northeast waypoint. The feather is on top of the cactus right next to the waypoint.

Plumage 8: South of the coast of Samudra

From the previous location, head northeast past Fatui's camp and there will be another plumage on top of another cactus.

Plumage 9: North of the coast of Samudra

From the previous location, head north until you reach the coast of Samudra. To the northeast, roughly where the bank leads to the river and the cave, you'll find Hilichurl digging next to a pile of sand. Use the Anemo on the sand pile to find the feathers.

Plumage 10: West of Barsom Hills

Teleport to the dungeon in the Barsom Hills. Turn to the northeast to face the big rose tree and you will see the feathers on top of the small dead tree right in the middle between the big tree and the dungeon.

Plumage 11: South of Barsom Hills

From the previous location, head southeast past the camp and drop down a bit to the canyon. You will see a feather floating next to the rock.

Plumage 12: North of Asipattravana Swamp

Teleport to Asipattravan Swamp, northern waypoint, and glide down to the southwest. The feather is at the top of the tree branch.

Plumage 13: South of the Asipattravan swamp

Teleport to the Statue of Seven in the Oasis of Vurukash, go west along the path and use the Four Leaf Symbol near the broken bridge. Keep going straight past the Hilichurl camp and you'll find the plumage on the right (just behind a small bush).

Plumage 14: South of the Asipattravan swamp

From the previous location, head northeast to a cliff with a tree branch. The two Hilichurls are just looking at Plumage.

Plumage 15: West of Asipattravana Swamp

Teleport to the West Point of the Asipattravan Swamp and look to the southeast. The pen is on top of the rock, next to the four-leaf seal.

Plumage 16: Southwest of Asipattravana Swamp

From the previous location, head south to the Hilichurl camp. Climb the rock behind it and you'll see Plumage. Once the feather is collected, four leaf seals will appear.

Plumage 17: North of the Tumir Mountains

Teleport to the Statue of Seven in the Oasis of Vurukash, go west along the path and use the Four Leaf Seal near the broken bridge. Then look south and you'll see a large stone archway with two dead trees (animo slimes floating above them). Head to a distant tree and look south to see a feather floating in the air near a bush (there is also a fox there).

Plumage 18: Southeast of Vurukash Oasis

Teleport to a waypoint south of the Vurukash oasis and head northeast over a small hill and you'll find a small pool. Plumage soars directly above the pool.

Plumage 19: East of Vurukash Oasis

From the previous location, head northeast and you'll find a large tree branch arching over the river. The feather is located inside a branch that looks a bit like a hollowed out stump.

Plumage 20: West of Vurukash Oasis

Teleport to the Statue of Seven in the Vurukash Oasis and head southeast until you see a large tree branch arching over the river with a large piece missing in the middle. It is at the top of the branch on the right.

Plumage 21: South of the Asipattravan swamp

Teleport to the Statue of Seven in the Oasis of Vurukash and slide down northwest to the cliff below. Above it hangs a branch of a tree, over which plumage soars.

Plumage 22: Gate of Dhu-l Qarnayn

Teleport to the southwestern point of Mount Tunigi and head west to the underground cave to the new boss. Upon entering the cave, you will find it on top of a stone pillar directly in front of you.

Plumage 23: Northeast of Zu-l Qarnain Gate 

Teleport to the Gate of Zu'l Qarnine, northern underground waypoint, and head east. The feather is on top of the cliff next to the four leaf seal. After completing the task, more four-leaf seals will appear, and you can pick up the Dendroculus on top of the booty.

Plumage 24: Northwest of Mount Tunigi

Teleport to Tuniga's underground breach point and go through the mechanical doorway to the southwest (the piece of metal door that was broken). Follow the tunnel to the end until you reach the other side of the canyon (there is a time trial there) after a few four leaf seals. Inside the Fravashi tree area, look up and you will see plumage.

Plumage 25: North of the coast of Samudra

Teleport to the Asipattravana swamp at the northwestern underground point and head north to the ruined gate. When you enter the factory, go through the open door that is immediately visible. Go down the stairs to the very bottom, and then through the next door. The room you should now be in is the one where you fought the two Guardians of the Ruins during the Hvarn of Good and Evil quest. The feather is on the branch to your right.

Plumage 26: Tumir Mountains

Teleport to Tuniga's underground breach point and go southeast to the open door. Follow the path until you reach a room with a furnace with lava flowing out of it. Turn right and go through the door, you will find a feather floating under a sharp rock.

Fravashi Tree

In this quest, you need to find 10 Fravashi trees that are related to the Pari people and complete a mini-challenge. When pumping Sorush, access to interaction with these plants opens up, because the spirits of the Sorush people live in them. After interaction, you can not only see the memories of the spirit living there, but also get plumage.

Each trial will grant you 1 Plumage of Cleansing Light. If you have already completed this quest, it means that you now have all 36 feathers.

Purifying Light Feathers in Genshin Impact

Once you have collected all 36 Plumage of Purifying Light, you will be able to start the Heart of Amrita quest (obtained automatically after completing the quest “Hvarna of good and evil”) and talk to Fedri to unlock Amrita's lake. Offer all Feathers to receive 600 Primogems and more rewards!
