Genshin Impact Fontine Map Leaked: New Details Revealed

A new Fontaine map leak in Genshin Impact has revealed that many rivers and lakes will be represented as areas of the region.

A new area in Genshin Impact is called Fontaine. Fontaine's NPCs imply that technology, culture, and the arts are valued in the area. Hydro Archonwho is considered Focalor, is responsible for the area, but little is currently known about her.

Fontaine in Genshin Impact is famous for his scientific prowess, as well as the enigmatic Hydro Archon. It is based on the interpretation of France during the Industrial Revolution and the Belle Epoque.

Sumeru's story in Genshin Impact is slowly coming to an end, which means it's time for a significant new region to join the game. According to one of the first teasers for the game, Fontaine, also known as the Hydro region, will be the fifth location to be added to Teyvat's explorable area.

The Fontaine Region has yet to be officially released by miHoYo in Genshin Impact, but the community expects this to happen along with version 4.0 sometime in the summer of 2023.

The first possible Fontaine map is shown in a new post on the Genshin subreddit. This new Fontaine map was created based on a new terrain model that was included in the most recent version 3.6.

According to previous Fontaine leaks, Fontaine's main city will reportedly be tethered to a vertical platform and surrounded by waterfalls.

The new image shows that Fontaine's map will now be covered in rivers and lakes, which makes sense given that Hydro is a symbolic element of the region.

In addition, two new areas of the Sumeru Desert have been included as part of the ongoing update, and these two areas are expected to be the last two expansions of the Dendro Nation. On top of this, HoYoverse has decided to change the placeholder model for land that can be seen but cannot be reached from the newly added Sumeru Deserts, as these areas are expected to border Fontaine's map.

Credible sources have also said that Sandrone and Arlechino, two prominent members of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui, will be posing as key adversaries in this location.

The history of Sumeru will soon come to an end, so that's all we can say about the Fontaine region for now. However, gamers who can't wait to embark on the Traveler's next adventure won't have to wait long.

The Genshin Impact 3.8 beta may provide us with new information and confirm Fontaine's map rumors, as leaks suggest we'll get the 4.0 update along with the new Fontaine region after version 3.8.
