Eternal Amber in Genshin Impact: where to find and what you need

Eternal Amber in Genshin Impact is a material for pumping the abilities of some heroes. The material was added in update 3.6, along with an expanded desert area. Dropped by the boss of the same region.

Where to find Eternal Amber in Genshin Impact

To farm this material, you need to unlock the expanded desert area from patch 3.6, where the wager story events take place. Access to the desired location is unlocked during the completion of the second chapter of the legends of Nahida. During the course of this storyline, we get to know the dendro dragon Apep and fight the Guardian of the Apep oasis for the first time, after which access to the boss is opened on a permanent basis. To access the desired dungeon, you must be at least level 35 and complete the above Nahida storyline. At the same time, the necessary material begins to fall out only in the second level of difficulty (II-IV), so it is better to prepare in advance and make the right squad with the right builds. To farm the item, you need to donate primordial resin x30-60 units, otherwise you won't be able to pick up the reward. For this reason, you need to start farming the right amount of materials in advance, otherwise you will have to wait a long time for the restoration of the resin. In addition to the direct way to farm by destroying the boss, you can use another way - alchemy. You can donate some resources to get Eternal Amber. Here are 2 recipes:

• Primordial Oasis Flower + Dream Dissolver
• The fern that announced the firmament + the dissolver of dreams.

Please note that the material does not drop from the boss (even starting from the 2nd difficulty level) with a 100th probability, since there is a list of rewards, and after winning and using the primordial resin, the reward is determined by the random method. With proper luck, you can quickly farm the right amount of resource.

Who needs Eternal Amber in Genshin Impact

The leveling material is used for its intended purpose - to improve / upgrade the talents of some heroes. However, there are currently no supported heroes. Most likely, they will be released in upcoming updates, so you can start farming the resource in advance so that you can immediately have the right amount with the release. 

Thus, for leveling at levels 7-10, you will need x1/x1/x2/x2 units of Eternal Amber, respectively, for a total of 6 units for one skill, and 18 for all.
