How to open the console in 7 Days to Die

You need to know how to open the console in order to teleport, you can do this by pressing one of the following keys:

  • F1
  • «
  • @
  • О
  • Ø
  • F2
  • С

There are many ways to use the teleport commands in 7DTD, but you may not know all of them. If so, then continue reading this article.

How to teleport a player to you in 7 Days to Die


To teleport a friend or other player to you, use this command teleportplayer [target player ID] [your player ID]. You need your id and the other player you want to teleport. You can find them by typing lpi to the console. The required number is underlined in the image below:

Once you know your id and the id of the second player you want to teleport to, all you have to do is:


  • Substitute [Target Player ID]who you want to teleport
  • Substitute [Your ID]

So, if your id was 171 and the id of the player you want to teleport was 198, the following command will help:

teleport player 198 171

How to teleport to another player in 7 Days to Die

If you want to teleport to another player use this command teleport [player ID]. To find out the id of the player you want to teleport to, type "lpi" (without quotes) in the console. The required number is underlined in the image below:

Then replace [Player ID]to which you want to teleport, and voila! For example, if the player had ID 187, this command would work:

teleport 187

How to teleport to coordinates in 7 Days to Die

Finding a good place and then losing it is bad. Luckily, if you know the location's coordinates, you can always use the teleport command to get back to it. You can find out your current coordinates using the "lp" command, the information you need is highlighted in the image below:

Having learned the coordinates where you want to teleport, use the command teleport [X] [Y] [Z]:

  • Replace [X] with coordinate X (first)
  • Replace [AND] with Y coordinate (second)
  • Replace [FROM] with Z (third) coordinate

So, to get to the coordinates highlighted in the image above, you must use the following command:

teleport 1244 61-619
